Schedule updates are below!
Hi Fair Volunteers,
The plan is to keep the latest copy of the fair schedule on the BCRP web page. www.bcrpwa.com There will probably be changes throughout the week. The schedule will be updated daily. When necessary, email will be used to communicate any changes.
Please download schedules below!
If you need to make any changes, or if problems arise, please contact day of coordinator Jerry Strickler by email at pco6220@gmail.com OR by phone at 509-713-9853.
All of the volunteer slots are full. If you are interested in a spot or another spot or know anyone whom is, call or email Jerry Strickler. There may be room but you will be responsible for your entry fee and parking UNLESS you previously signed up.
We especially need volunteers Saturday evening and for tear down.
Some important information about the fair:
All tickets for those previously signed up will be at the will call booth, which should be on your left at the Main (North) entrance. Please give the booth attendant your name and that you are with the Benton County Republicans. The attendant will give you an envelope with your name on it with the admission inside. (More than one and a parking ticket if you are working more than one day.) The ticket is good for the whole day so you can come at any time on the day you are working the Republican Booth.
You are responsible for your parking fees.
Free parking may be found along city streets in the neighborhood north of the parking lot.
There will be copies of instructions in the booth to refresh your memory.
Also:
Be sure to enjoy the fair before or after your shift. Enjoy your time in the booth. Visit with people. Ask open ended questions like “What issues are important to you? Are you aware of the fabulous candidates we have running for office in November?”
Invite people with a smile to see what we have to offer. There will be some campaign literature and other give-a-ways. Bring a bag of candy if you want. Just encourage people (especially families) to come to the booth!
There are multiple copies of the initiatives that are available for signing. Encourage people to take a seat and sign all 11! If all seats are taken, give them a packet they may sign standing up. These initiatives are promoted by LET’S GO WASHINGTON.
Ask people if they are registered to vote. Get them to fill out the form right then and there.
See if you can get young people involved.
We will be updating every evening during the week of the fair with any changes or updates…
Oh, and have fun!
Regards,
Jerry Strickler
