The Primary consists of local and county positions that are up for re-election. in November. The primary narrows the field down to two positions. Ballots will be mailed out around July 18. To make your vote count, you must have it in by this day by dropping it in the closest drop box before 8 p.m. OR you can vote in person at the Benton County Election Center up until 8 p.m. Visit Current Election to find the list of drop box locations open for the current election.
The Benton County Republican Party is organized under RCW 29A.80 and is recognized by the Washington State Republican Party.
The Central Committee is comprised of elected and appointed Precinct Committee Officers and meets the first Thursday of each month at a location to be announced at 7:00PM.*
Bi-annually the Central Committee elects an Executive Committee. The Executive Committee serves as the leadership of the Central Committee; providing guidance and oversight on activities of the Republican Party within Benton County. In addition to the Executive Committee, there are several standing-committees including: Bylaws, Resolutions, Fundraising/Events, Outreach and Nominating.
Meetings are open to the public and anyone interested in learning more is encouraged to attend a meeting.
