Washington State has 2 Senators, serving a six-year term, appointed to the U.S. Congress. Each of the 10 Congressional Districts are represented by a Congressman or Congresswoman, who serves a two-year term. They are to represent the people of their district and state, by introducing and voting on bills, holding hearings, and serving on committees.
The Benton County Republican Party is organized under RCW 29A.80 and is recognized by the Washington State Republican Party. The Central Committee is comprised of elected and appointed Precinct Committee Officers, with the Executive Committee providing guidance and oversight. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:00PM. at 1520 Fowler Street in Richland and are open to the public. Please come and learn more.
